Cutting genuine Vogel crystals is a technical and spiritual art form possessed by only a few cutters trained by Marcel Vogel before his death in 1991. These masters of Vogel crystal cutting endeavor to create a peaceful and harmonious environment in which to cut crystals. Beyond the technical skills required, these individuals recognize the power of intention and special prayer before and during the creation process, while programming alignments into each Vogel crystal for the intended recipient. Marcel Vogel developed the double terminated Vogel crystal. There are only two master cutters in the world that studied under Marcel and were certified.

Choosing the amount of facets you desire for your Vogel crystal
13 Facets are adept in removing tough stubborn energies and are capable of reaching far into the energy field, therefore into past lives, even reaching as far as into the first luminous spark of a being.
12 Facets represent a complete cycle in cosmic order, restoring balance and harmony.
8 Facets represent totality, infinity, universal continuation, and renewal in perfect rhythm.
6 Facets are considered a perfect number, as six is the wonderful conjunction of the sum 1, 2, 3 and the product of 1 X 2 X 3. It is said to represent perfect balance, harmony and equilibrium. Six facets create a hexagonal shape; this is the same shape as water crystals. Our bodies are 70 percent water, therefore, a six-facet crystal is very effective when working with the human body and extracting energies.
Choosing the length of your Vogel Crystal
If the palm of your hand and your index finger is three inches or less in width, a four-inch crystal will suffice. If you have large hands, we recommend a five-inch crystal in length by one inch or more in width.

Natural crystal is difficult to find these days and may have a few small inclusions, as other minerals can be present in the cut crystal. Melissa strives to find the cleanest pieces available.
Natural comes from the earth and is attuned to all the multi-dimensional spirit energies of the earth. Lab quartz has none of that, though it can be used as an extraction tool.
Lab grown synthetic crystal is the frequency of solid quartz, this grown crystal is not attuned to the spirit energies of the earth. They are perfect for extraction work as they are completely clear, free of inclusions, and durable.
Throughout our years of service, thankfully, we have never had a disappointed client with either natural or lab-grown crystal – both work very well.
Due to the purity and clarity of our Vogel crystals they are very strong and can safely and kindly hold large amounts of energy.
